Greetings all those enthusiastic handcrafters out there!
Happy New Year! What an unusual start it has been to 2021. Personally, I have been in quarantine for almost two months because various family members have been Covid positive. Still, hopefully we are through the worst and life can return to some sort of normality again.
Over the festive season no in-person lessons have taken place. This should change from next week. I will share with you in the next newsletter what my students are busy with.
With having been at home for all this time, my Tinna Thorvaldsdottir’s Fiesta blanket is almost complete. I am busy crocheting the octagons, squares and triangles together and then it is just the border remaining to be done. It has been a fun blanket to work on!
I managed to do an embroidery project for my daughter’s 21st. It was made into a beautiful box for her to keep treasured items.
I wish you all a healthy and happy year in which you complete many craft projects! In this crazy world we are living in, doing some creative work is therapeutic. Whether crocheting, knitting, sewing, painting, weaving, cooking or whatever, you get a sense of achievement and joy. It is invaluable.
Yours in handcrafts,
Lindsey
