Greetings to all those enthusiastic hand crafters out there!

So much has happened since I last chatted to you via my blog. I have moved house and office space, which is why there has been an apparent silence from my side for some weeks now. Moving is not only physically demanding, but emotionally draining too!! However, I am delighted with my new work area and I am sure that my students are going to love the new space for sewing, knitting, doing their embroidery, chatting and sharing ideas with each other.

While I’ve been on leave, three of my students have sent photos of their completed or almost-completed projects. They have really done well and I am proud of them.

I have used the time to make progress on my Jacobean tea cosy. The little designs for each side are done. All that remains is for me to find some beautiful linen material that will compliment them, and then for the tea cosy to be put together.

Lessons have started up again, so join me if you want to learn a new skill! Be inspired. Begin a new project. Contact me if you are interested in crocheting, knitting or doing some hand embroidery. Remember, you are never too old or too young to learn something new!

Yours in handcrafts, Lindsey
