Greetings fellow hand crafters

I hope you are healthy and happy. I hope too that you have your needles or crochet hooks well into a project or two.

The haberdashery side of Threads of Joy is coming on in leaps and bounds, with stock arriving each week. I now have quite a number of the Chameleon hand-dyed stranded threads available as well as the DMC threads . So, if you are needing items, especially for your embroidery projects – from threads, to sewing needles, to embroidery hoops, to scissors please give me a call. I am selling them at very competitive prices. If I don’t have the items in stock, I will try my best to get them for you.

I have only been working on one project this month. It is an gorgeous design of indigenous wild flowers by Salli van Rensburg. I am so enjoying the embroidery and I know it will look stunning when it is complete. I am undecided at this stage whether to make it into a long cushion or a quilt. I would love to teach you to embroider this design. There are so many stitches to learn and the design is beautiful.

Lessons are in full swing. Join me if you want to learn a new skill and meet some like-minded friends! Be inspired. Begin a new project. Contact me if you are interested in crocheting, knitting or doing some hand embroidery. Remember, you are never too old or too young to learn something new!

Yours in craft, Lindsey
